bye bye Octavius

Octavius the cat had to be put to sleep this morning.

He was 13 years old and one of the best cats ever. Not only did he have supermodel good looks, but he was the mellowist cat ever. You loved sitting on the keyboard of the computer to get my attention in high school. He was very patient and loved being brushed and petted.

He had a weakness for drinking fresh running water and did this cute trick where he would stand up on his hind paws if you stuck your hand out.

He was half feral - we found him by cabin eight at Mar Vista, so mom named him Octavius after that. I'm pretty sure his father lived a few miles down the road, since he looked exactly like Octavius.
