Tools

Forbes just loves making lists, and one of their latest is a countdown of the 20 Most Important Tools. They posted number 7, the Rifle today. They said things like a computer were left out, and they also left out simple tools, like the wheel. They narrowed the list down to 100 items, which they aren't posting. Some of my ideas for the top 6 tools include:

• Knife/Spear-like object.
• The Transistor. Seems like one of those important things.
• The Pen/Pencil. Recorded history.
• Mortar and Pestle
• Shoes
• Light-sensitive paper
• Paper
• The key

Anyone else have any ideas? Do light bulbs count?
