rain & more

It started raining as we left work last night and is still raining today. Actual rain, too. The bowl I left on the porch appears to have at least an inch in it. It is very Seattle out today - nice to have those days every once in a while.

My mom emailed me that my Uncle Michael has broken his back in Argentina. From what we know, he didn't break his spinal cord, and he walked into the hospital himself. Poor guy! I hope he is doing ok - being alone in a foreign hospital where you don't speak the language cannot be all that great.
