Sat May 4 10:40:50 2002 (rr) Book: Moon SE Asia Location: Khao Sok We're currently beat after our second long day of hiking around Khao Sok National Park. The trails were excellent, lots of waterfalls to swim in, and interesting/weird plants and insects to stare at while tromping up steep clay hills. Staying in elevated huts ("Jungle Huts") with many many backpackers. A bit of culture shock for us -- way more social and way more backpackers than we are used to. |
