storms

yesterday we had a fantastic thunderstorm. Nathan was out walking Thor when it started pouring. It dumped rain for a good while, and the wind was whipping the rain every which way. The temperature dropped from the 80's to 60. Nathan turned on the fan full blast to blow in the cool air - "Hey, how often do we get AC here?"

Then it dumped again in the middle of the night. Monsoon season here usually starts around the 4th of July, but I'm thinking it started last Friday. This afternoon was al ittle dispapointing - the clouds built up, lots of thunder, but then it just went away. However, it is getting gray out there again, and I can hear thunder off in the distance.
