my day

Well. i've been slacking lately blog-wise. Nathan and I have been spending most of our free time coding an application-Saturday seems to officially be "hackathon" day. We are way behind in our Netflix viewing since we work on this app before and after work.

ANyway, more on that later. Today I dropped nathan off at the airport in ABQ so he could fly to YAPC (Yet Another Perl Conference) in Toronto. I then went and bought a few months worth of Asian groceries at Ta Lin, since we make it to ABQ so rarely these days. I bought 35 lbs of rice, two types of soy sauce, two jars of Tamarind paste, and much much more.

Then I went and spent my dividend (14 bucks) at REI. Got a tank top/workout top. Then went to the mall and visited the Gap and Banana Republic. Netted some cheap tank tops at the Gap, and found this scarf. I got the black/pink/red one. I've been wanting forever at BR. I hadn't bought it before because it cost 48 bucks, but this time I was going to get it regardless when i saw it sitting on the shelf. But now it was over half off. That was a score. Also got a pair of pants. So it ended up being a shopping day, but most everything was on sale at least.

Then I headed home to Thor, who is currently snoozing on the couch.
