Petronas Towers, Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, 2002

We were walking around the impressively huge mall at the base of the Petronas towers. On the top floor, I looked up through the skylight and saw the towers. This was the best view of them that I saw in Kuala Lumpur. Cesar Pelli designed the towers but as far as I know he did not use the famous "Pelli green", which graces the stairwell banisters in the Vassar College Frances Lehman Loeb Art Center. Perhaps those stairwells also have the same shade of green.
