Backcountry Ski Adventure!

I went on a ski trip to Uncle Bud's hut in Colorado this weekend. There were eight of us. We skiied up to the hut from the trailhead near Leadville on Sunday, and then spent two nights up at the hut. some highlights:

• moonlight ski
• amazing views from the warm spacious hut
• telemarking down the meadow not far from the hut
• building an igloo
• drinking brandy around the fire burning in the igloo
• playing silly games
• very cool people to hang out with!
