colorful birds
Sun May 15 2005 13:02 MDT #Last week or so we noticed some brilliantly colored birds outside. They have bright red heads, yellow bodies, and black wings. After some googling and web research, I figured out that it is a Western Tanager. Male western tanagers that is. The females are not so exciting to look at, but I think I saw one in an apple tree this morning as well. I'm sure there are plenty of females around as well.
